Taking Labor Day Weekend Off

Much needed time off

Well, the unofficial end of summer is here.

Monday September 1st is the last day, then it’s back to school, back to work, or back to the normal routine, whichever applies.

It didn’t feel like much of a summer this year, we never really got hot like we usually do, we had a stretch of high humidity that made it feel warmer than it actually was.

It was very rainy and wet during the first part of summer and then the heavy smoke from the wildfires in Manitoba gave us all sorts of problems with numerous, long lasting air quality alerts. Those two things made summer seem sort of blah this year.

And now we’re at the end. We are just entering a long holiday weekend, and with that, so am I.

I’m taking Labor Day weekend off.

I’ll be back at 6:00 AM CDT on Tuesday September 2nd with fresh, new posts and we’ll keep it rolling until Thanksgiving, when I take another long weekend off.
